Growing in the garden

Here are some pics of some of things growing in our garden this year. The first 2 rows are moms flowers marigolds and zinnias in the first row then sunflowers a row of green bean and more sunflowers. If I can get to the sunflowers before the birds they will be funny treats.Sweet corn on the right, 2 rows of cabbage, tomatoes on the left. That big green blog is 2 rows of tomatoes. We dont use tomato cages they seem to produce more without them just a little harder to pick. That is pop corn on the left! Here is the squash and zucchini on the right and I think that is some of the okra on the left. Its kinda hard to tell now without running out to the garden.Look close that is a baby zucchini growing in there! This is just a small part of the garden this year. We also have cucumbers, pumpkins, several different squash, sweet potatoes, potatoes, and watermelons.

Wendsday is the 4H rabbit show stay tuned for pics of Ashely and Austin showing their rabbits! I will try to get pics of sheep, llamas and alpacas if there are any there this year. Maybe I can find a local fleece source. How cool would that be! Sounds like I will be shopping to LOL. God Bless have a good evening!

Choices

I went to visit a new church tonight, well I have been there several times before and Mom works with the Preachers wife and we know him as well. I was kinda heavy hearted on my way this evening. I have been going to a church I really like with a good Pastor and good people in the church, however I have had alot of issues going on in my personal life and for that reason I thought it might be best if I find another church, I have yet to make up my mind on that one. I need to do more praying and seeking God's will first. No one in my church is ''chasing me'' out in anyway but because if choices others have made and I have made myself I feel it would be best.

There has been a chain of events going on that all revolve around telling the truth. Some people just find it so hard to tell the truth from the beginning. I think this is a problem man kind has had issues with forever, why they haven't figured it out is beyond me! Ya know its always easier to tell the truth and the hole truth from the beginning. Lie once and then you have to lie again to cove that up and so on and so on. Before you know it the lies are huge and you feel like you cant find a way out. So why not stop there and correct the things you have wronged? People do forgive you and you can move on from it. The bible teaches there is not 1 sin God will not fogive and if you ask for that forgiveness He will cast your sin as far as the east if from the west. But for some reason this person wont tell the truth no matter what they loose because of it which is the saddest thing I have ever heard. Your lies will build and build and then start to hurt other people. There is no such thing as a white lie or a little lie you see that is the biggest lie mankind has ever said. What you dont know won't you is another on of those. The truth always has a way of coming out NO MATTER WHAT the truth will be found!

Now because of these lies other family members have been hurt and it has caused a chain of events. People make choices they may be right and they may be wrong thats not for me to decide. Those choices may hurt another and then that person makes choices, more people get hurt that would have never been hurt if the lies were never told. To make matters worse some people know that lies have been told and then try to cover them up because they think that is the right thing to do to fix things. Now tell me how much sense does that make? If you know or even think someone told a lie no matter how big or small you should never try to cover their tracks, that in turn makes the situation worse. So now even more people are hurt and you dragged even more people into the mess which is wrong! Relationships between people have been hurt or broken because of lies and the choices people make because of the lies a person has told.

If you make a bad choice in life dont lie or run from it, tell the truth, admit you were wrong. It may be shamefull and you may think that it hurts you at the time but its never the wrong thing to do. For the stupid things we do it is always best to own up and face it head on. Apoligize ask for forgiveness and move on praying all way! Let God guild your path and walk hand in hand with Him and it will all work out in the end I promise you that!

The bible talks a great deal about lies, liers, and a lieing tongue. It teaches to never tell a lie because of the damage they do to others and the way it seperats us from God. God never turns away form us if fact He is calling us back, we seperate ourselves from God with sin. The best thing to do is ask for forgiveness and seek God's will. God will be there waiting with open arms no matter what! He calls us all home and wishes that none should perish but have all have everlasting life. Please next time you even think about telling the smallest lie remember all the people it could hurt there is more than just you. Remember that because of that lie others will make choices that may hurt even more peole. Pray and ask God what you should do, ask Him to guild your steps and help you make the right choices!

Whats going on at my house

Things are really busy right now around the house, its garden season. We have a huge garden full of corn, tomatoes, squash, pumpkins and many more things. I also planted some Dills Atlantic pumpkins too they are the kind that get HUGE, not sure why I was so obsessed with them this year, last year Okra was my thing LOL. We started building a new chicken house this weekend. Thank God we really needed it! Here is a pic of how far we got Sat.We worked on it more on Sunday but got slowed down by the rain. We got all the rafters up and the tops of the polls cut off. We have to finish framing it and them we can hang our siding. I am hoping to paint it red I have always wanted an old red barn and this one will have wood siding so should look great!

While working on the barn we found these baby birds as well little Robins.I have kinda been in the dumps tonight, people you never thought would do it crap on you from time to time. I for one am done with it and have now realized why I like animals so much more than people! Well when I get down this is one of the things I do to pick my self back up again. This is pure angora I dyed pink and light purple then blended with my hand carders. The pink is the first clipping of got off of my German Angora Vici it is her second coat the purple is her third coat between the 2 coats I got a pound of wool not too shabby! Hanging out with my critters is also good theraopy! I hope that all of you are in good spirits and God has sent you many blessing today!

Checkered Ear Warmers

I found a pattern for checkered ear warmers while surfing the net one day I thought it would be hard knitting with 2 different yarns at the same time, but it turned out to be quite easy. Its a fast fun knit that keeps your attention just perfect for me since I tend to get bored with large projects. The blue is a Cormo Angora blend I got form Joyce and the white is pure Angora from Harrah. I could not believe how much it bloomed once I knitted it. Makes the little simple piece look amazing! The only thing I do not like about the pattern is it is in Stockinett Stick which likes to curl when its knit. I have another one or 2 patterns that are in 2x2 rib I may try one of those as well. Hope you all have a good weekend and God Bless!

Some of my kids : )

This is Tank a 8 month old lab mix playing with his usual toy a huge tree limb.
Here is Moses on the arm of the couch. LOL So small compared to Tank that would need the whole couch.Dudley our 12 yr old breeding stock Paint gelding I broke myself. Dad and I use to do a lot of trail riding hopefully we can get back into it soon. These little guys belong to Misty and Walley they are 83% German. Notice the little blue head in the upper right? Lets hope that little one is a doe and just maybe it will stay here. There is a 50% chance they will carry 'e' all the black and white kits will be looking for homes as woolers. These little guys were just born last night to Zazzie, D'Oro my red FA NZ cross is the father. The chestnuts are easy to pick out and I am hoping the pinkies are fawn or red. Will have to wait a couple more days to see since both parents could carry REW. They are 32% German. As soon as I can tell what colors they are I will post more pics of them.
